Cresson TB Sanatorium Remembered
Luther
The following photos were submitted by Jeffrey Luther of Cresson, Pa.  They were passed down to him by his father Leo Aloysius Luther who worked as a guard at the san.  Leo found the photos by accident during a cleanup.

The interesting thing is that these photos are actually part of the Miss Grow photo album, shown on the "Personal Stories" page.  The dates are consistent, the same people appear in both collections and Miss Grow's printing and handwriting are unmistakable.  Why they were removed from her album, only to be found many years later by Jeffrey's father, is a mystery.

The captions were written in pencil on the back of each photo.
